Covering large built in bookcase with fabric?

My bedroom is a converted office, two floors high ceiling shelving (built in). I want to use the shelves for storing clothes clothing (since there is no closet), but I want to cover with fabric. I have a green light, asian style duvet, and light green / dark shades of brown (almost a "crushed" look). Any color and design ideas? Cover 2/3rds of the largest second wall with a wall 3 feet in the center.
