What would you do if you had to drink bad water in your apartment?

better this morning I took a pill and a glass of water with it and after that I took a shower. When I left the shower noutious started feeling (feeling vomiting). So my boyfriend went to school with me and came home, his friend asked him what color the water because the water here is brown and come to discover water is also brown and it was like that when i drink my boyfriend's friend took the same time it was. but the only thing is that I am in my cycle, so I go to the doctor or just sit and watch what happens the next day we have a pitcher of water in case, but I really want to do something about it because I never I know I just need an opinion, thanks for listening.
